Providing the tools to build better communication.
Hello! My name is Amy Schulte. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist with Kansas & Colorado SLP licenses and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). I earned my Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Fort Hays State University in 2010.
I spent the majority of my career in the public school setting but also worked in acute and long term care medical settings. Throughout my career, I gained experience with populations spanning from school age to adult. My areas of interest include language-based learning disabilities, phonology, fluency, expressive and receptive language, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), dysphagia, cognitive therapy, speech sound disorders, and facilitating social-pragmatic development.
My mission is to provide research-driven therapy that is always engaging and functional. I believe there is nothing more important than being able to interact and connect with others in meaningful ways. Communication and social skills are the foundation for building relationships and engaging with the world around us.
In my free time, I enjoy being a mom to four beautiful girls, baking and spending time with family and friends.
All care is individualized and highly personal in order to meet your unique needs and goals.
